A Barre workout is a unique fitness method that combines elements of Pilates and yoga. It involves a series of low-impact, small, and precise movements designed to target and tone specific muscle groups. During a Barre workout class, participants use a ballet barre for support while performing isometric exercises to build strength, flexibility, and improve posture. Expect a dynamic workout that combines isometric movements, light weights, and stretching. Barre classes at our Berlin studios focus on sculpting and toning, with a particular emphasis on the core, thighs, and glutes.

The class may also include elements of stretching and flexibility exercises as well as some cardio exercises.

While Barre is an effective strength-training workout that targets specific muscle groups, it may not fully replace a comprehensive strength training routine. It can be a valuable addition to a well-rounded fitness regimen, but incorporating other forms of strength training can provide a more balanced approach to overall muscle development. We offer a STRENGTH class to accommodate this.
